Vincent Carton is Managing Director of Manor Farm, Irelands Largest chicken processor, processing over 970,000 birds per week, compounding 160,000 tons of chicken feed p.a., employing 850 people with 174 farmer suppliers and turning over €275m in 2016. In July 2017 it was announced that Scandi Standard was acquiring Manor Farm for circa €95m, continuing their strategy of acquiring European chicken processors who have the largest market share in smaller markets and then transferring best practice and efficiencies from their Scandinavian base.
